Greetings from Francisco Park Conservancy!

This past month marked a significant milestone for Francisco Park as we celebrated two incredible years since our grand opening. We celebrated with a community yoga session and a special donor coffee klatch, bringing together our cherished community members. It was a heartwarming sight to witness the community’s enthusiasm and participation, and we are inspired to continue creating more opportunities for such gatherings. Our next Yoga day will be on Saturday, June 22nd, look out for announcements to join us.

May’s weather has been incredible, and we hope you are enjoying some of the sun at Francisco Park. There is so much to do and see around the park. To spark your creativity, here are some ideas we have gathered for your next adventure in Francisco Park:

  • Picnic at the park with friends on the lawn or at picnic tables
  • Relax with a book on the upper lawn
  • Attend a Francisco Park community yoga session (bring a friend!)
  • Take a walk with your four legged pup at the park (on leash please!)
  • Plug in some tunes and walk around the park admiring our beautiful plants
  • Swing on the swingset at sunset

However you enjoy Francisco Park, we would love to see, so send us a photo or tag us on Instagram or X @franciscoparksf

In partnership with SF Rec and Parks, the Francisco Park Conservancy is responsible for maintaining and improving Francisco Park, exclusively from donations—help us by joining our STEWARDS PROGRAM; any donation big or small helps. Thank you to all the current donors and park goers who are helping to build our community.

Do you have time to help us manage Francisco Park?

We are looking for new members who want to engage with the Conservancy as volunteers, particularly who can help with accounting, marketing, or have a legal background. We also welcome people willing to organize specific park user groups like dog owners and parents with small children. Get in touch via [email protected] if you’d like to pitch in!

See you at the park,
Francisco Park Conservancy
