Fleet

Greetings from Francisco Park Conservancy!

The Park has been bustling with the amazing San Francisco weather and lots of weekend fun at the Park. We did planting down on Bay Street and fixed irrigation near the playground to prepare for the rainy season at our Q3 volunteer day. We had a great turnout at the Park to watch the Blue Angels during the Fleet Week airshow. While we unfortunately had to cancel our free yoga class last minute the past weekend, we still had over a dozen yogis come out and do their own self-lead practice on the lawn during the solar eclipse. We will have one more volunteer day on December 2 to round out our community events for the year, so mark your calendars.

As we turn our focus to year end, we’re hoping to grow our Stewards program and have set a goal of doubling the total number of park donors and guardians of the park this year. If you love Francisco Park, we hope you’ll consider giving to the park this giving season to help keep Francisco Park beautiful and safe. Every donation helps, no matter the size. If you’re interested in becoming a Park Steward or maintaining your Steward status for 2024, please donate online or get in touch ([email protected]). Plus don’t forget that you can double your impact with a company match – a little extra effort goes a long way here!

Thank you for your ongoing support,
Francisco Park Conservancy
