Greetings from Francisco Park Conservancy!
Today marks the 1 year anniversary of the Francisco Park opening!
We’ll be celebrating with a picnic in the park on Saturday May 6 from 11am-1pm. There will be face painting, bubbles, popsicles, lawn games, community garden tours, and dog treats in Pepi’s Dog Park. At noon, we’ll be joined by special guest speakers Supervisor Stefani, Commissioner Larry Griffin from SF Recreation and Parks, and Marc Meyer, Board President of the Francisco Park Conservancy. Pack a picnic and join us in the park for another day of community togetherness.
The park has been enjoyed and loved by so many people over the past year, and we’re just getting started! Countless special moments, both big and small, have been shared at the park and we have a few of those captured moments to share with you from our photo competition finalists — visit our Instagram @franciscoparksf to vote for your favorite! We will announce the winners and hand out prizes at our picnic in the park on May 6.
We hope to see you next weekend!
