Greetings from Francisco Park Conservancy!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our native plant and butterfly scavenger hunt last month!
In partnership with California Native Plant Society, Nature in the City, Russian Hill Neighbors and San Francisco Parks and Recreation, we’re continuing our learning and nature theme this month with a Russian Hill wildlife walk on Sunday August 13 from 1-4pm. The walk starts at Ina Coolbrith Park and ends at Francisco Park. We’ll get to know our neighbors and neighborhood, learning from experts about all of the native plants along the route that feed and nurture wildlife right in our own backyard. Meet at the bottom of Ina Coolbrith Park at 1pm (Vallejo, west of Mason) to join us for this event. All ages welcome! Dress for San Francisco weather and hills, and bring your own water and snacks.
See you on August 13,
Francisco Park Conservancy
