Greetings from Francisco Park Conservancy!
San Francisco summer is here, and “Karl The Fog” has made several appearances, cooling off the warm, sunny days we’ve been enjoying. No need to worry, Francisco Park is teeming with beauty and fun for adults, kids, and furry friends, and San Franciscans always carry an extra jacket just in case, don’t we?
You’ll have seen that half of our lawn is currently closed while our gardeners ensure our grass stays green and healthy and ready for summer activities. The lawn will be fully open again in early July. Before then, we’d love to invite you to our upcoming free community yoga session on Saturday, June 22nd from 10-11am. Bring a friend, a yoga mat/towel, and an extra layer for a relaxing yoga session. All levels are welcome. Please sign up for a spot via [email protected].
We would love to see how you enjoy Francisco Park. Send us a photo or tag us on Instagram or X @franciscoparksf.
In partnership with SF Rec and Parks, the Francisco Park Conservancy is responsible for maintaining and improving Francisco Park, exclusively from donations—help us by joining our STEWARDS PROGRAM; any donation big or small helps. Thank you to all the current donors and park goers who are helping to build our community.
Do you have time to help us manage Francisco Park?
We are looking for new members who want to engage with the Conservancy as volunteers, particularly who can help with accounting, marketing, or have a legal background. We also welcome people willing to organize specific park user groups like dog owners and parents with small children. Get in touch via [email protected] if you’d like to pitch in!
See you at the park,
Francisco Park Conservancy
