Greetings from Francisco Park Conservancy!
We hope you had a happy 4th of July! We had a great turnout at the park to watch the fireworks, with visitors coming from all over to enjoy the breathtaking views that Francisco Park offers. We also had over 35 yogis join us for a lovely morning of movement in nature a few weeks ago with visitors joining us from as far as Sydney, Australia.
Our yoga event was a great reminder of the healing power of nature and the serenity that Francisco Park offers in the midst of city living. You might not know, but Francisco Park supports a robust native ecosystem of native plants and trees, supporting countless species of local wildlife, both big and small. We’re excited to celebrate this ecosystem on Saturday, July 22 with expert native plant and species talks, followed by a native plant and butterfly scavenger hunt for kids. Join us at the picnic tables by the restrooms from 12pm-1pm to come learn more about the surrounding beauty.
See you at the park,
Francisco Park Conservancy
