Greetings from Francisco Park Conservancy!
We had a great turnout for our Kids Music Class last month with over 100 people in attendance. The park was alive with so many kids and families before, during and after the event, and the North Beach Library even came and did a surprise book giveaway! It’s heartwarming to see this community building in action, and we have more community building ahead!
Francisco Park turns 1 later this month! We’ll be celebrating with a picnic in the park on Saturday May 6 from 11am-1pm. There will be face painting, bubbles, popsicles, lawn games, community garden tours, and we will be joined by Supervisor Stefani and speakers from San Francisco Recreation and Parks, and The Francisco Park Conservancy at noon.
We’ll also be celebrating all of the special moments shared in the park over the past year with a photo competition. To participate, submit your favorite Francisco Park photos to [email protected] by Tuesday April 25. We’ll choose the finalists, the community will vote on Instagram, and we’ll announce the winners and hand out prizes at our picnic in the park on May 6.
See you at the park,
Francisco Park Conservancy
