Greetings from Francisco Park Conservancy!
We’re gearing up for summer in the park, and it’s shaping up to be a great one! Thanks to all of the volunteers who joined us for our Q2 park beautification day. We had a blast, and volunteers ranging in age from 2 to 75+ mulched the area behind the trellis and dug holes and planted grapes vines along the fence-line.
We will be hosting our first yoga class at Francisco Park on Saturday June 24 from 9:30am – 10:30am. Bring a yoga mat, blanket, or towel and meet us on the lawn for some morning movement, zen and nature. This is a free event open to the community. All levels welcome!
The Park is also the perfect place to celebrate the 4th of July, both day and night, with a great lawn for picnicking and one of the best views of the firework displays over the Bay (if Karl the Fog cooperates).
We’re also excited to announce that we’ve launched a $6 million Legacy Campaign of which we’ve already raised $1.5 million to help safeguard the future of Francisco Park. If you’re interested in becoming a park donor, please get in touch ([email protected]) or donate online.
See you at the park,
Francisco Park Conservancy
