It has been a busy month for the Francisco Park project. Our design team of landscape architects and project managers has been refining various elements of the park’s design as well as navigating the city’s permitting process. Our fundraising committee continues to network throughout our generous community, coordinating events and speaking with many of you about providing leadership support. We are moving closer to our goal of raising the $25 million needed to build Francisco Park. Thank you to everyone who has joined us thus far.
We are excited to announce another way you can contribute to the Francisco Park project this summer while enjoying a delicious meal:
MIXT, the popular California fast-casual restaurant know for its delicious, locally-sourced salads, will offer a salad named after Francisco Park from June 13 – September 18. A portion of the proceeds from this craveworthy salad, featuring grilled peaches and goat cheese, will be donated to the Francisco Park project.
We are grateful to Leslie and David Silverglide, founders of MIXT and neighborhood supporters of Francisco Park, for providing this opportunity to increase awareness and raise money for the park. To find a MIXT location near you, visit the company’s website.
Please be in touch with any questions or to get involved in the Francisco Park project. See you at MIXT!
