Dear Francisco Park Supporters,
We hope you are safely weathering this challenging time in good health and positive spirits. We are more grateful than ever that you have joined us in the creation of a new park on the site of the Francisco Reservoir. If ever there was a reminder of how much we need open space with gardens and a place for birds and butterflies to share with us, we certainly have one now.
Under the updated CA State Public Health Order guidelines, the Stay at Home order was extended to May 3, 2020. This effectively placed a pause on a majority of construction work across the city and state.
Cahill Contractors and their subcontractors have made great progress prior to this development, and we believe they will again! During these unprecedented times, our parks, remain a source of respite and beauty for our mental and physical health. As we continue to stay at home, we are planning for better days ahead.
Our volunteer board continues to meet via conference calls, refining the design details and decisions that always come up during a construction project. We are determined to put your contributions to the best possible use. When Francisco Park opens later this year, we will have even more reason to celebrate and to be thankful to you.
With appreciation,
Francisco Park Conservancy Board
P.S. We will continue to keep in touch with you via email and our website. Please follow our Facebook and Instagram feeds. We always welcome your questions, comments or concerns.
