Community Garden Flourishes for the Season

Nature is awakening from its winter slumber and day by day the flowers begin to bloom at Francisco Park. The crisp air and the sun make for perfect days for walks in the park and a little detour to our community garden. Take a peek through the fence near the main lawn and you might see some spring onions, leafy greens and root vegetables.

While our community garden plots are all full, you can still enjoy the pleasures of playing in the dirt, planting seedlings and watching things grow. Our next volunteer workday in the park is Saturday, March 22 from 10am to noon. Sign up below and come to meet new friends and neighbors or bring a friend, family member, or neighbor to join you!

Celebrating Three Years of Francisco Park: Anniversary Festival

Spring is an action packed season—not just for the park’s blooms. On Sunday, April 27, we mark three years since Francisco Park’s grand opening with a celebration from 10am to 2pm.

The day will kickoff with the return of our popular Yoga in the Park series at 10am. Classes are taught by certified instructors from local studios and are suitable for all experience levels. You need only bring a mat!

The day will also include a coffeeklatch, kids activities and other special events to be announced.

Save the date to join us and/or volunteer to help support the fun-filled day. We are seeking volunteers to meet and greet and help support our many activities. Email [email protected] if you are available for a portion of the day.

3Rd Anniversary

Thank you for all you do to keep Francisco Park thriving. We can’t wait to enjoy the park together these next few glorious months.

See you at the park,
